Main Focus

Five main research interests have developed after different research projects.

1. All topics of ecology and distribution, including climate change and (resource) distribution at all levels
2. Various socioecologic fields of climate change (including pilot regions on climate policy, the policy of adaptation to climate change, incentive structures for a change in climate policy, measurement concepts for progress in climate policy.
3. Measurement concepts for sustainable development
4. China in general, especially ecology and sustainability in China.
5. Last but not least contributions to the theory of sustainable development are necessary
